This Month: Energy Exercises with Your Parter: Hands to Heart - excerpted from our book Soul Sex: Tantra for Two. Available at amazon.com

Stand facing your partner, feet solidly on the floor, shoulder width apart. Knees are slightly bent. Back is straight but not rigid. There are four sections to this exercise:

Vigorously rub your hands together, building energy in them. Feel this charge, your life force, in and around your hands. With palms facing toward you slowly bring your hands, with their powerful energy, toward your heart. Notice when you start to feel the energy approaching.
Now begin to rock your pelvis back and forth and breath rhythmically as you rock. Again, rub your hands together and bring them towards your heart. Notice when you start to feel the energy approaching. Is there a difference from the first time?
Continuing pelvic rocking, match your breathing rhythm to your partner’s. Rub your hands together again. Move your hands, palms forward, toward your partner’s hands. When do you feel contact?
Continue breathing in unison and rocking your pelvis. Charge your hands again. This time direct your hands toward each other’s hearts. Notice when you make contact with your partner. Notice when you feel his approaching energy touch you. Be aware of and considerate towards sensory perceptions and emotions that may come up for each of you as you do this exercise. Let them flow freely. You might be drawn physically toward each other, for a hug, or you may feel the need to be very separate. Listen and do what feels right, without analyzing or judging.

Photographer Bernard McCaffrey seeking Models

Photographer Bernard McCaffrey, who took the photos for our book "Soul Sex: Tantra For Two" and whose website is linked through ours (under Exotic Art), is looking for couples to model for discreet erotic black and white art photos. The couples need not have "model" type bodies, but should have some creative imagination to share with the photographer in the project. Rates paid could run between $200 to $300 an hour per couple, with a shoot running between 1 and 1/2 and 2 hours. He can be contacted through his website at www.artistsincanada.com/mccaffrey.
