If you choose to venture forth into our great outdoors, you'll find 6.5 km of marked trails right here at Mysthaven.We also have a 2.5 KM labyrinth that takes up the entire two-acre hillside overlooking our Wolf Lair lake."
There are kayaks and canoes, and paddlewheel boats available for your use. A large year-round cedar hot tub on the water's edge is ready to delight you. Meeting rooms are spacious with great views. Mysthaven is wheelchair accessible.
Steam sauna room: Take the experience of having a shower to a whole new level! The inner room is a double two-head massage shower with two seats. Turn on the steam unit and choose your perfect temperature setting. The outer room is all cedar with its luxurious smell, and there's seating room to share your steam sauna experience with your close friends!
Exercise room: Get a quick cardio workout on the low impact elliptical machine, which seems to be most comfortable for many users. Or do some yoga, or, if weather permits, use the large trampoline outside.
Spa Services
Mariel, a Registered Massage Therapist with over 20 years experience, loves her work. She offers a variety of spa services that you might want to treat yourself to during your free time at the retreat.Massage therapy sessions are $70/hour or $100 for 90 minutes, + GST
Soothing Foot Treatments: The exfoliating foot scrub, reflexology foot-massage treatment, and soothing peppermint lotion will have your feet looking better and you feeling better too! Sessions are $50 and take about 40 minutes
Reiki Healing: Mariel is a second-degree Reiki initiate in the Usui branch of Reiki. Sessions cost $70 and are 60 minutes
Paraffin Hand Therapy: This is a particularly nice experience if your hands and wrists feel achy and arthritic, or your skin is rough and dry. The heat will penetrate deeply, then the moisturizing hand and wrist massage afterwards is like a treatment of your whole body, using the reflex points, just like in the feet, which connect with your whole body. Approx. 40 minutes. $50
Facial Massage: Steaming towels, deep cleansing, exfoliating mask, aromatherapy, and a variety of special massage techniques for the face, neck and head. Sixty minutes. $70
