About the Workshop

The retreat offers elements of both sacred sexuality and conscious relationship for integrating body, mind, heart and soul. It is an opportunity to connect deeply with yourself, your lover and the divine. It is a magical time away from the world and into each other--a time to share with like-minded travelers on the path to awakening and joy.

 

We create an atmosphere of safety and respect for you to explore your sexual/spiritual/relationship connection. There are frank, open, detailed discussions about sexuality, intimacy, and communication. The sessions are very lively and experiential, but there is no sexual activity or nudity in group activities.

 

We schedule time during the retreat to meet with each couple individually to talk about how the workshop is progressing for you and if there is anything you want more clarification or instruction about.

We create a comfortable balance of learning, play and rest times. A typical idyllic day runs somewhat like this:

Riding Horses
• Awaken to the sight of golden sun filtering through palm trees outside your door
• If you're so inclined, bring your body to life with gentle stretches of yoga on the poolside terrace
• Enjoy a leisurely breakfast of fresh tropical fruits, eggs any style you choose, french toast, beans and rice, dark Costa Rican coffee
• Gather in the shade throughout the morning to learn the mysteries of Tantric sex and sacred relationship as you sway in the oversize rockers to the thrum of the ocean's pulse
• A light lunch of crisp, cool salads and tempting tortillas recharges you for the afternoon to come

Rich with pleasures and treasures both inside and out, Palacio Tropical is a magnificent, 10,000 square foot, four level, ocean front estate featuring eight luxurious bedroom suites, a fabulous gourmet kitchen, a state-of-the-art entertainment room, private sun bathing decks and party patios on each level, an outdoor pool with a natural waterfall, cocktail bar and built-in gourmet barbecue, a pristine, private beach ... and a full time palace staff just waiting to treat us like royalty!

 

Palacio Tropical features the finest in designer furnishings. The burnished wood pieces, drapery fabrics and materials have been hand-selected especially for Palacio Tropical ... from the massive four poster beds to the most delicate of living room side tables. Beautiful artwork throughout this luxury villa has been chosen to reflect the architecture and design.

 

Plucked from the lush Palacio grounds, fresh tropical fruit and flowers are set out daily for your enjoyment.

 

Even on vacation, there are times when you may have to be in touch with the outside world.  There is a house computer, complete with email and internet access and a fax machine. A Vonage phone is also available for free long distance calls.

 

All of the bedrooms are luxurious and spacious and have wonderful views of the pool and ocean. All beds have sumptuous linens to ensure that your sleep is as wonderful as your waking hours are at Palacio Tropical. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated and has a large adjoining private bathroom. Set your own personalized air conditioned temperature for absolute comfort. And if you really cannot miss your favorite show, watch it on your room`s satellite TV.

 

 

As comfortable and palatial  outside as in, Palacio Tropical's patios, decks, balconies and pool feature the finest in outdoor furniture, perfect for that first cup of morning coffee ... or a last little nightcap under the starry Costa Rica sky. Food and Drink

 

Dining at Palacio Tropical is a truly exciting experience! Our chef uses only the finest produce, meat, fish, and poultry to create unique meals that reflect the Costa Rican motto “Pura Vida” or “Good Life”.

 

You awake from a restful night of slumber to breakfasts consisting of pancakes, bacon, sausage omelets, local fruits, pastries, rich Costa Rican coffee and native juices.

 

Lunches are filled with a wide variety of local flavors. Ceviche, tortillas salads, fajitas, tuna, and chicken are just some of the mid-day meals our staff will prepare for you.

 

Throughout the afternoon, our staff will surprise you with special little treats by the pool to get you through the day until dinner time.

 

Fabulous sit down dinners may be at either of the two (2) large tables (one in the dining room and one by the pool). A wide range of appetizers and entrees consist of the finest beef and poultry available as well as local fish and seafood caught in the waters surrounding Palacio Tropical.

 

Beverages include beer (Costa Rican beers are excellent), white and red wines and various liquors. The accommodating staff will cheerfully mix you pina coladas and margaritas (or other frozen drinks) to sip as you lounge by the pool. Soft drinks, fruit drinks, and legendary Costa Rican coffee are also available.
